Follow along with the step-by-step instructions below, the video, or the instructions on the free print out to learn how to color glitter wrapping paper (just in time for Christmas)!

Step 1: Base Coat + Lightest Dots

Step one for coloring a glitter present. Present is pink with darker pink dots on it

Start by filling in the present with your lightest color. Let your page dry for 30-60 seconds. Then randomly add dots throughout your present using your second lightest shade. Let dry for 30-60 seconds.

Step 2: More Dots

Step two for coloring glitter presents. Pink present with two colors of dots on it

Add more dots in a random fashion using your next darkest color, adding more dots in shaded areas, and less dots in lighter areas. Let dry for 30-60 seconds.

Step 3: Even More Dots

Step three for the how to color glitter presents alcohol marker tutorial. Shows a pink present with three different colors of pink dots on it.

Using your darkest shade, add more dots to the present, keeping the spacing random, but adding more dots in shaded areas, and less in the lighter areas. Let dry 30-60 seconds.

Step 4: Sparkle!

Step four for the how to color glitter presents tutorial. Shows a pink present with three colors of dots on it, and white dot and sparkle accents on it.

Using a white gel pen, add a few random sparkles to the present to add extra sparkle to the areas with the most light and in a few random areas. Then add dots with the white gel pen to sparkle the other areas.
